OUR PERFECT HIGH PRIEST

Hebrews 4:14–16 presents Jesus as our great High Priest who has passed through the heavens and fully understands our weakness. Because He was tempted in every way yet remained without sin, we can draw near to God’s throne with confidence and receive mercy and grace in our time of need. This connects profoundly to the Advent of Christ: the very reason we can approach God boldly is because the eternal Son took on flesh, entering our world in humility so He could stand with us, represent us, and redeem us. Advent celebrates the moment our sympathetic High Priest stepped into human history.
