Hebrews 10:26–31 warns that for those who knowingly and deliberately reject Christ after receiving the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains—only the fearful expectation of God’s judgment. The author argues that if rejecting Moses’ law brought severe consequences, then treating Christ’s sacrifice with contempt and insulting the Spirit of grace deserves an even more serious response. The passage concludes by reminding readers that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
