Father Abraham

Abraham’s faith is displayed at its fullest in Hebrews 11:17–19. When God tested him by asking him to offer Isaac—the son through whom every promise was supposed to come—Abraham obeyed because he was convinced God could even raise the dead. His willingness showed a faith that trusted God’s character beyond what he could see, and God honored that trust by providing a substitute and reaffirming His promise.
