Faith in Promises

Sarah, though barren and far beyond childbearing years, received power to conceive because “she considered Him faithful who had promised.” From that single, unlikely pregnancy came a nation “as numerous as the stars.” The emphasis is not on Sarah’s strength but on God’s faithfulness to do what He says, even when circumstances make it seem impossible.
