BECAUSE HE LIVES!

Hebrews 7:20–28 emphasizes that Jesus’ priesthood is absolutely secure, superior, and eternal because it was established by God’s oath. Unlike the Levitical priests—who were many in number, limited by death, and marked by their own weakness—Jesus lives forever and therefore holds a permanent priesthood. Because of this, He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him. The passage concludes by highlighting that Jesus is the perfect High Priest we truly need: holy, blameless, exalted above the heavens, and offering Himself once for all as the final and sufficient sacrifice.
