WORSHIP

All of us are created to worship. You and I will worship something. The question is, who or what is that going to be? Here at Baybrook, we worship God with all that we are. From the Old Testament we are called to worship. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.  Deuteronomy 6:4-9(ESV)
From the New Testament we see Jesus continue this theme... “Which commandment is the most important of all?” Jesus answered, “The most important is, ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ Mark 12:28b-29(ESV) As you enter in and participate, understand, We want to equip all believers to worship God through songs, service and everyday life. We want to live a life of worship to God. Join us and participate in the worship of the one who is our creator and sustainer of our life.

David Hudspeth - Worship Pastor

Hi, I'm David, the worship pastor here at Baybrook. I have been serving in worship ministry for 25+ years. I have been on staff at Baybrook for 10+ years. When it comes to the worship ministry here, we look to bring honor and glory to our Savior Jesus. Through various styles or genres of music, we want to direct our singing, playing, media, sound as well as other aspects of worship to the One who is worthy. If you are new, you may hear an old hymn as well as something that is current. Our focus is to use what God has created to bring Him glory. We are excited to join in worship and lead all to the throne of the One who is our Creator. He alone is worthy of worship.
