Group Studies

Cinema and movie theaters are the modern day pulpit. People gather at local multiplexes and find themselves engaged by a worldview revealed in story form, allowing themselves to be emotionally led by directors, actors and screenwriters who influence how and what we feel, believe, and even act.  Spirituality in Film is a group study that meets periodically throughout the year at a local theatre to enjoy, analyze, and discuss the spiritual significance and symbolism of a variety of films and compare them with the truths from the Bible afterwards over coffee, dinner or ice cream. The goal is to watch the films with a biblical worldview in order to discuss them and open up spiritual conversations with other movie watchers. For movie reviews and content go to www.pluggedin.com.
